As we sit on the eve of Thanksgiving, all four of us are thinking of the many things we have to be thankful for. Personal reasons for each of us, but also reasons that have to do with this class. We are thankful for the opportunity to learn more about social media and also for the chance to help Austin out with his business.
Over the course of a year I think we all become busy with whatever it is we do on a daily basis and often forget about the most important things in life. For us that is family, and spending time with them is the best way to show our love. Whether we are able to spend the whole thanksgiving break back at home with family, or are stuck in the dorms with some friends, family is the people in whom you can trust when you feel alone. We encourage all of you to think of the family in your life, be it biological or the people you have come to trust like family, and think of the memories with them, and thank them for all they have done.

Looking at the feature photo for this post you can see the great care that Austin went to in order to capture the picture of a cherry pie. The bright red cherries and their sauce are popping in between the cracks of the golden crust—it makes a viewer crave some of it. It just so happens that cherry pie is my favorite so that doesn’t help, but whatever your desert choice during this Thanksgiving season—cherry pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate cake, or the classic vanilla ice cream—whatever it is, enjoy each moment of the day and remember all you have to be thankful for.
